Visitors and members, we can report that the new web site has allowed us to better organize information and perform such tasks as bulk emailing to visitors or members. We are encouraged that interest in the Party grows daily with more people visiting the site. Also, we note that with the publication of opinions/commentary in various newspapers a subsequent uptick in site activity occurs. We really need volunteer support to help us get the word out about a new Party with a different political attitude. And, we need to look for other advocacy groups who might join and support Republic Sentry. The rate of growth of the Party is greatly a factor of how much time and energy we can expend in communicating information about the Party to the public. We need people who would write articles for the media, talk to groups, large and small, about the Party, and otherwise, communicate our cause to the public at large. We are looking forward to the time when we will have sufficient support to maintain a communications presence on the site for several hours a day to handle queries and discuss issues through the blog, chat, or phone. We are going to press the retiring baby boomers for their volunteer service as they may have more free time to give. There are many facets of the site to be developed. Some are needed now and others won’t be necessary until the Party becomes more mature. Your ideas and suggestions would be most helpful at this point. We are looking forward to the time when we have the people force and technical ability to interact on a large scale with members and visitors. In the interim, please visit the site often, participate on our blog and volunteer some of your time to support our reform Party. Let your thunder be heard! Regards Roy Ellis |
